The Seal Beach Chamber Summer Concert Series will kick off Wednesdays in July.   All concerts are at Eisenhower Park at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays July through Sept.

Thanksgiving Dinner
The Seal Beach community has had a long history, since 1979 of having a special celebration for those in town who don’t have anyone to spend Thanksgiving with.  Several members of the business community, including historic chairs Virginia Fairman and Joan Wolfelt came together with the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce and several locations to produce the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Born out of a desire to thank residents and shoppers for their patronage, the businesses of Seal Beach dug not only into their hearts, but their wallets as well.  For years, a core group of volunteers and donors had made it happen. From gallons of juice to the fresh baked pies provided every year by LOTE and others, it is an event focused on giving back. “We just wanted a place to have the community come together. From the fun of the night of the turkey carving at my house to the planning and finally the smiles and singing on Thanksgiving, it is just a joy,” said Joan Wolfelt, who has co-chaired the event informally for the last decade. 

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony sponsored by the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce to kick off the holiday shopping season in style! There will be a tree of lights put up by the City of Seal Beach at the Eisenhower Park at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier. (Friday after Thanksgiving)

Christmas Holiday Parade on Main Street
The Annual Christmas Parade of Seal Beach is along Main Street. There are bands representing schools from Marina, Ocean View, Los Alamitos and more. Special guest bands, Drum Groups and walking groups abound. Boy Scouts and Girls Scout Troops from all over the area will be represented.  We welcome their families to Seal Beach for this annual tradition.

The parade begins promptly at 7:00 pm along Main Street starting at Ocean Avenue and proceeding to PCH. Do some Christmas shopping and have cocktails and/or dinner before and after the parade. (First Friday in December)
